Default get from Excel 2003 add-in to Excel 2007 add-in

Was VBA installed with Office 2007? If you press Alt-F11 in Excel does it
open the VBE?

| All,

| OK, I know I am having a mental block, but I cannot seem to transfer
| my 2003 add-in to a 2007 add-in. I opened the AddIn.xls with Excel
| 2007 and saved it as a .xlsm. Then when I open the .xlsm and try to

| Hi Bill,
|
| Have you checked all your settings in the "Trust Centre"? The Trust
| centre can be found by clicking on the circle in the top left, then
| goto Excel Options, Trust Centre, Trust Centre Settings...

| Hey James,
|
| Well I checked the Trust Centre and there was nothing obvious that I
| saw. Now I am wondering if perhaps I had them password protected in
| Excel 2003 and that might be the problem....
|
| Well, I just checked and indeed I have the macros password protected
| in the 2003 .xls. I do remember the password, but Excel 2007 does not
| prompt for it.
|
| Any thoughts?
