Default 401k withdraw calculation

The FV formula might be more appropriate for this case since the interest
will be added to the principal instead of the payment.

Go to worksheet and insert PV function. Look at help (bottom of pop up) for
this function. See example at the bottom of the help.

Hello everyone,

Looking for a calculation which will show data on 401K withdraws. For
example let say someone retires with 500,000 dollars in their 401k
fund and they are 65. They believe they will live another 15 years so
they decide to make withdraws monthly of $2,777.00 ($500,000 divided
by 15 years divided by 12 months). They estimate the money in this
fund will have a return of 10% while the withdraws are being made
thoughout the 15 year span. Need a calculation that will show the 10%
gains monthly while the fund is being reduced monthly by the
withdrawals.

Am I making any sense what so ever?

Any help appreciated
