It should.
But I've seen some posts that say that the password disappears when they've
emailed the file. I've never seen this behavior. I can't duplicate it. I'm
not sure if the original poster(s) did what he/she explained. (I've always had
my doubts that excel/windows would behave this way.)
But there's nothing stopping you from doing some testing.
