if your in a blank cell and you want to copy the first row above that that
contains data:

Sub AddRow()
if len(trim(ActiveCell)) = 0 then
ActiveCell.End(xlup).EntireRow.copy
ActiveCell.EntireRow.Insert Shift:=xlDown
End if
End Sub
