Default (auto)filter on row

You may want to define different views, too.

In xl2003, hide the columns you want.
View|custom views|add (a new view)

Include a view that unhides everything to make it easy.

Another option would be to use a macro to hide columns that you don't want to
see.

Not quite the same, but you can group columns.

Select a few columns
(in xl2003)
data|Group and outline|Group

Is there any posibility to create an autofilter on row (instead of columns)?

Many thanks,

Bogdan
