The key is to know that percentage is merely a fraction multiplied by 100.
A1*100/A2 (with 24 in A1 and 32 in A2) will work but the magic of Excel to
give 75 but you need to recall it is a percent. Actually must percentages
are used just a fractions without multiplying by 100. SO =A1/A2 give 0.75
but format is as percent and it displays 75%.
Half of something (0.5) is 50% of something. If I want 1/2 of $520 I
multiply by 0.5 (or divide by 2); if I want 50% then I should multiply by 50
and divide by 100. Excel makes it easy by displaying 50% but storing 0.5.

How can I get a percentage of 24 out of 32 if a1=32 and a2=24?
