1) ToolsOptions | View tabuncheck Zero Values in the Window options
section
note that this will affect ALL cells that have a zero value

2) Use an IF formula, as such:

=IF(sum(f4:f10)=0,"",sum(f4:f10))

A blank cell will be displayed if the sum is zero, else the sum will be
displayed.
