Mitch -
The usual "trick" is to turn on the macro recorder and go through the steps
of adding the cubic trendline.
In Excel 2003, it works for me, yielding Order:=3 in addition to your
current code.

I am trying to create a cubic trendline (e.g. x^3 +x^2+x+1) in a chart
using
VBA. I can create a quadratic trendline (e.g. x^2+x+1) using
"ActiveChart.SeriesCollection(1).Trendlines.Ad d Type:=xlPolynomial". I
haven't been able to find how to create the cubic trendline. Does anyone
know the trick?
