Default determine if autofilter is on

geebee, this should do what you want

Sub filtertest()
With ActiveSheet
.AutoFilterMode = False
End With

End Sub

But if you do want to test it.......
Sub filtertest2()
With ActiveSheet
If .AutoFilterMode Then
MsgBox "Autfilter is on"
Else
MsgBox "Auto Filter Is Off"
End If
End With
End Sub

hi,

I would like to know the code to determine whether or not the autofilter

is
enabled, and if it is, to turn it off. If it is not turned on, it should
remain off.

Thanks in advance,
geebee
