Default realplay.exe?

I think realplay.exe is the main component of RealPlayer. A lot of people
use RealPlayer as a multimedia player, and I think you have to have it to
access some of the files on the BBC site.

Thanks, RB. I browsed around in Google quite a bit per your
suggestion. There seems to be some question about whether it's
beneficial or malicious. The part about "can monitor activity" seemed
ominous. I'll probably remove the darn thing. Regards, James

Put realplay.exe in Google and you will see what it is.
Not sure it has to do with your VBA code.

I'm activating several worksheets sequentially to simulate animation
while using an API call to test for a keypress. Sometimes this causes
the computer to warm up (fan comes on loudly). When I go to shut down
the computer, it notifies me that a program called realplay.exe is
running. realplay doesn't show up in the task manager. Anyone know
what this is and if it may be a problem? Thanks, James
