i'd already tried this
but it doesnt sort my problem
i prob cant do what i want to do
the sheet i do the sorting on is ok but the "details" one has the names
"copied " from sheet i sort, using a formula
but the other columns that containing phone no's etc dont match the
names as the names move with the sort

i'm confusing myself at this stage
