First unprotect the sheet.

Tools -- Protection -- Unprotect Sheet

Then select the cells for Saturdays and Sundays (all at once or one at a
time) and unlock them.

Format -- Cells -- Protection -- (uncheck the "Locked" checkbox)

Last, reprotect the sheet.

Tools -- Protection -- Protect Sheet
