Default Dates

Make sure your windows short date setting (under control panel|regional
settings) is set for dmy.

Then try selecting your range and
edit|replace
what: / (slash)
with: / (slash)
replace all

Excel will see it as a change to the cell and see that it's a date.

I have a problem with dates in two columns see below.

Basically all cells are formatted at dd/mm/yyyy but only those that are
right justified seem to be correctly formatted as dates.

The only way i can find to right justify them(so they are proper dates) is
by double clicking in the cells then pressing enter.

04/03/2006 04/03/2006
