=IF(ISBLANK(*),"N/A", "(*-(*-*))/*")

Hi All,

I need a help with a find/replace that I have been trying to accomplish
for sometime now. I have a formula for eg.
IF(ISBLANK(AS45),"N/A",(AS45-(AU45-AV45))/AS45). What I need to do is
replace all the cell references with a "*". So the output would be
IF(ISBLANK(*),"N/A", (*-(*-*))/*).

Any help in this direction will be highly appreciated.

Regards.

Hi Bob,

The reason being that I need to change this string (formula) after
being input (or copy/pasted) from another source and replace the cell
reference with "*" and then find this pattern in a range of cells.

Hope I've been able to explain!
