Dim rng as Range
Column("G").Insert
set rng = Range(cells(2,"F"),Cells(2,"F").End(xldown))
rng.offset(0,1).Formula = "=E2*H2"

I assume when you say multiply E2 by G2, it is really H2 after inserting a
column Before column G (that column becomes the new G).
