There are two questions in your post :
1. The input data ...
the solution is to Insert Name Define a dynamic range ... so you will
not have to worry about the input data
2. The PivotTable refresh ...
pivottable.refresh can be written in an event macro, ideally your
working sheet ... worksheet calculate event ... all refresh will be
automatic ...
