Do you have a worksheet_open event macro. If so, trap the error there

c3 is a define name * startpoint
column a contains the week number * *4
column b contains the date * * * * * 26-jan-12

the peurpose of the formula is to open the workshhet at the current week number

problem is when the worksheet open the cell a3 is blank and there returns #N/A this is giving me a run time error

how do i stop this formula returning #N/A
