You can see this by examining it from the immediate window:

? "=Hyperlink(""" & fname & """)"
=Hyperlink("Goofy")

look more like:
MyFormula = "=Hyperlink(""" & fname & """)"
or
MyFormula = "=Hyperlink(" & chr(34) & fname & Chr(34) & ")"
