Shouldn't this:

MyFormula = "=Hyperlink(" & fname & ")"
look more like:

MyFormula = "=Hyperlink(""" & fname & """)"
or
MyFormula = "=Hyperlink(" & chr(34) & fname & Chr(34) & ")"
