What's not working?
Watch the precision in the calculations. The average is 0.1667, while 3/16 is really
0.1875.
You can format the X axis in 16ths. On the scale tab, choose a multiple of 16ths for
min and for major unit.
It actually looks pretty good.

I have to generate a standard deviation analysis of data, but none of
the suggested methods are working for me, including:
http://tushar-mehta.com/excel/charts...tion/index.htm.
My data is as follows:
Fixture # -- Measurement
1 -- 7/16
2 -- 1/16
3 -- 2/16
4 -- 1/16
5 -- 1/16
6 -- 1/16
7 -- 2/16
8 -- 4/16
9 -- 3/16
10 -- 0
11 -- 1/16
12 -- 6/16
13 -- 2/16
14 -- 9/16
15 -- 0
I found the Mean to be 3/16 and the standard deviation to be 0.168148.
Is there any way to get a bell curve from this data? If not, what are
your suggestions for the best way to visually display this information?
Thanks a lot.
