How did you populate the choices for your control?

I am now using Excel 2003 and try to return numerical value from Combo
Box of Control Toolbox, which I need to use in other formulas. But I
keep getting string from it. Could anyone help me out? I don't want to
use Combo Box from Forms because I need extra features of Control
