I have a column with a drop down list boxes in each cell.

When my user selects a value from one of these list boxes I wish to
populate the cell to its left with a date stamp.

I have been toying with -Worksheet_SelectionChange- however without
much luck.

The date stamp should only happen if a value is selected.

Any ideas?
