Default Run-time error 1004 with sort

There is nothing wrong with that line of code. The error is something else
such as the sheet is protected or such. This is not a 2000/2003 issue (near
as I can tell). One thing that is curious is that your macro is
Header:=xlGuess. This requires Excel to make a guess at run time as to
whether there is a header row. xlYes or xlNo would probably be more
appropriate.

Hi,

The code below works fine on my computer which has Excel 2003 but is coming
up with a Run-Time error 1004 on my client's computer which has Excel 2000.
The actual line being highlighted by Debug is surrounded by << below. Any
help is appreciated! Also, is it possible to have Excel 2003 operate in
Excel 2000 mode? I ask because I have a lot of macros going on this
spreadsheet and I suspect there may be more of these types of errors in the
code with 2000 and would like for me to catch all the errors, not my client.

Range("I15:L34").Select
<<Selection.Sort Key1:=Range("I15"), Order1:=xlAscending, Header:=xlGuess, _
OrderCustom:=1, MatchCase:=False, Orientation:=xlTopToBottom, _
DataOption1:=xlSortNormal

Thanks!

Robert
