Thanks. I did notice that the problem happens only when I try to hook up a
video projector to the VGA port, so I think your contention is probably
correct. I'll try the dropdown on Forms toolbar.

But I've always had better luck when I used controls from the Forms toolbar.
The dropdown doesn't behave exactly like the combobox, but maybe it'll be
sufficient for you.
