personally i would look at investing in an "off the shelf" invoicing system
(e.g. MYOB which starts at A$99 for something like this), having said this,
if you'ld like to email me direct i have a sample invoicing workbook set up
in excel that if you decide you're going to use excel for this, it might
give you some useful ideas.
