Welcome to a bug in Excel 2000. There is no xlColumnWidths. Try this code...

Selection.Copy
Workbooks.Add
Selection.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlValues
Selection.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlFormats
Selection.PasteSpecial Paste:=8
