I don't believe this is possible.

Hi Chip,
Thanks for responding.
How about programmatically changing the priority level of the
Excel parent
application within a macro? Does VBA offer such functionality?
Thankss

Hi again,
Is it possible/how to change the priority level of a running
macro within a
macro itself. For example, when doing file i/o which is
intensive i would
like to lower it's priority so that it doesn't hog cpu. I
won't have to
worry about the macro holding the file lock for too long
because this will be
the only process accessing the file.
Thanks again.
