Default Conditional Formatting Range

I want to impliment a conditional format that covers a range comparing cells
in G to the cells F example: if G26<F26 then /. ./ color index=3, g27<F27
etc. To add a twist I am trying to start at row 26 ending @ 500. I have
figured out for a single cell but duplicating for a few hundred ....gotta be
an easier way.
