I think there is a syntax error in the original formula, copy and paste
this into B2:

=IF(ISERROR(VLOOKUP($A2,Sheet2!$A$2:$A$14,1,0)),"N ot
Active",(VLOOKUP($A2,Sheet2!$A$2:$A$14,1,0)))
