Excel charts have an export method which will save it as gif or jpeg.
No need to bother with powerpoint.

ActiveSheet.ChartObjects(1).Chart.Export ThisWorkbook.Path &
"\temp.gif", "gif"

BUT...

the quality of the graph is terrible.....how do I get the quality of
chart that I get in excel in powerpoint.....

Or do I have to use something else like OWC?
