Default Enable a rectangular Shape

Possibly you are in drawing mode - in the drawing toolbar, the northwest
arrow is depressed.

Shapes are located "above" cells.

I have a shape. made by 4 different shapes "lines", conforming a
rectangular shape.
those 4 lines "shapes" are grouped.

this new shape fits in the following range: range("B2:F10")

I would like to enable this shape, without protecting the Worksheet.

I am trying to draw this shape on the back of a worksheet, but:

my problem comes when my cursor is close to the new shapes borders
so I am able at the moment to access this shape's formatting options

Is it possible to avoid this?
is it posible to send 1 alone rectangular shape back to a range and
enable it?
