Default sumif question

Well, yours was a little bit different: (but conceptually the same) <g

=sumif(A:A,"S1",B:B)

If there are more than the 4 distinct labels and you want to exclude
S5,S4,S2 and sum any other label

=Sum(B:B)-Sum(Sumif(A:A,{"S2","S4","S5"},B:B))

I would like to do a sumif and have logical statement to
filter sum values out.

Example:

A Column B Column
S4 1
S5 2
S2 3
S1 100

Sumif(a 1 to 4, <"s4",<"s5","<"S2", b 1 to 4)
= 100.
How do I are the expression to only add the "S1"?
