Default Changing Form Button Background Color

If you just want to change the background color, right-click on the button
and select 'Properties'. Choose the color on the 'BackColor' field.

I've tried but I can't seem to figure this out.

I have a worksheet(1) in a workbook. On that worksheet I created a
button using the forms tool and associated it with a macro. It is the
only control on the sheet and in the workbook. All is fine except...

The button background color is grey and the lettering is black. Hard
to read. What I want to do is changed the button color. I thought I
could get at it with the shapes object but I can't figure out the
syntax.

Any help would be appreciated!
