hi,
could you explain a little more about the grid part.
what is it?
-----Original Message-----
I have a list of products, item 1, item 2, etc.. and for
each a
location. The location is in a grid 26*26, from a to z in
the x axis,
and 1 to 26 on the y axis. Each item appears ONLY ONCE in
the list but
could have SEVERAL locations in the grid. In that case,
the location
field is populated with several location couples
seperated by a comma
(eg. a1,b2,f4)
From the list, I would like to generate the grid
graphically in another
worksheet where for the item's name appears in the
appropriate cells.
If there was one location for each item, it would be easy
with a lookup
function, but here I am stuck.
Thanks for your help.
