Or perhaps have them each upload to a separate file or directory and then
have your master compile all the entries. Pretty soon you are manually
solving the typical database questions, eh? Good luck.

Hi All,
This is probably very simple, but i have a quick question.
I have a spreadsheet on a public network drive. At the end of the day,
people are to copy their information from their local machines to this public
spreadsheet.
How do I prevent 2 people accessing the file at the same time ie just
prevent the update happening etc until it's 100% available?
(Ideally I would have spent a lot more time on an database system, so this
is just a 'quick fix at the mo')
Cheers in advace!
