For sample connection strings you can see Able-Computing
http://www.able-consulting.com/tech.htm
Also
Excel also has the autofilter, advanced filter, the find method unde
the
Edit menu.
any of these could be used to do the searching. getting the result
to a
new location can be done with copy and paste.
You can turn on the macro recorder while you perform the actio
manually to
get sample code. Of course the recorder records your manual actions
like
selecting cells and so forth. This is usually unecessary in you
actual
code, but it will give you insights into the objects and propertie
which
you might use.

Hi, I would like to know if anyone could point my in the right
direction: ie (text book, or link to a tutorial) on how to write a
app
in excel to be able to search records in an excel document as wel
as
different means to export the results. I have an exesiv
programming
background, i just need to know where to start with it.
Thank you!
