I'm using Win 2000 with Office XP and it doesn't work...do you know of any
work arounds or am I hosed?

Tested with Excel2000, Excel XP and Excel 2003 on WinXP:
With the dialog running, I can no longer switch between open workbooks using
the taskbar. But both Ctrl F6 keypresses and Excel's Window menu choices
work fine and the code returns a valid result doing this.
