Yes, you can have multiple criteria included within the Countif() function,
using it in conjunction with the Sum() function.

Count the items in Column A, where their color, in Column B, is *either*
Red, or Blue, or White:

=SUM(COUNTIF(B:B,{"Red","White","Blue"}))

This is *not* an array formula!
