Hi Peter

If we talk the Access mscal.ocx, it's legal, free and not too complicated.
Here is a good place to get it (I think, didn't actually run it from here
since I have both Access and Visual Studio):
http://www.fontstuff.com/mailbag/qvba01.htm
or this MS site (it looks very old)
http://www.microsoft.com/officedev/tips/regactx.htm

HTH.Best wishes Harald

Hi,
Thanks for the info. Does that mean that if I am running office prof

which comes with Access and the control IS available, and the other pc is
running office small business ( no MS access) and the control is NOT
available, that there is no way to make it available on that pc without
installing MS access?
