I have no problems running other Procs or SQL statements.
It makes the connection, it pauses for a few seconds,
definitely running the Procedure. Then Excel fails.
I see this message in the app event viewer.

The code errors at the execute statement

objConn.Execute ("EXECUTE StoredProc"), rsData

I tried both execute styles.
<Type Name is invalid on this 2nd style.
objConn.StoredProc , rsData

any advice ? Jeff
