This is certainly feasible.... but your question is very confusing.
I will suggest this....
You can use combo or Validation to create the list.
Either using a program or named range, you can update the data in col
D... (need more details) then use this in sheet 1 where you intend.
If you provide more clarity on problem .. I will be pleased to help you.

Hi all,
I have an urgent problem with no solution. I run a workbook listing
machinery. The machine may take on around 10 configurations.
What i am looking to achieve, is use a combo box to list the machines.
When the machine is selected the correpsonding price for the options
listed fill in column D. These options fill column A and there are
about 50 of them. The price for each is dependant on the machine chosen
and all prices are listed on the next sheet.
To summarise:
1. user selects machine from combo box
2. correpsonding options price then copies from sheet2 to matching
option in column D
ppplleeeeaassseee....help!!!! Im needing something today!!!
