For one thing, try to get rid of the selections

range("a2").select
selection.copy
range("b2").select
selection.paste
can be
sheets("sheet1").range("a2").copy sheets("sheet2").range("b2")
or if you just want the values
sheets("sheet2").range("b2")=sheets("sheet1").rang e("a2")
