Default protected cells

You can *lock* any cells you want. Then you have to protect the worksheet
for the locking to be effective. All cells are locked by default. You need
to select all the cells on the worksheet, unlock them (Format | Cells |
Protection), lock the specific ones you want (same methodology) and then
protect the worksheet.

Hello.
Is it possible to protect selected but discontinuous cells in a worksheet?
for example i would like to protect cells A1:A3, B10 and M4:M24

Thank you
