Default filename pointer

hi,

I just wonder how could i do this.
I have 2 workbook, wb1 and wb2. In wb1, I have a worksheet, ws1 with a
cell named "test". In wb2, there is a cell name "filename" and another
cell is pointed
to the "filename" and the name of the "test". I have tried but this
"=filename!test"
it doesn't work bcoz excel treated "filename" here as the actual
filename rather
than pointer. Are there anyway solution to this ?

The basis of what I want to do is simple, in wb2 there are many of
cells will
be refering to wb1 file's cell. The wb1 file will be changed
everymonths and hence,
instead of redo change on the file link pointer, i would like to create
a cell which
user can just type in the new filename and all pointers shall change
automatically.

That's all, sound simple har !

Regards,
Tan
