Default Somebody hit me with a bigger hammer... I forgot how to..

Hi
after selecting the range try:
- hit F5
- choose 'Special'
- choose 'only visible cells'
- now copy and paste

A while back, I requested some info and somebody was nice enough to

provide
that for me.

What I want to do is to set a filter, and then fill a column,

ensuring that
it ONLY fills the records that are showing (visible)!
I have tried this once or twice and it effected all of the records,
including hidden.

I believe the same command will prevent only visible records to be

cut and
pasted, but I am not sure, if not, what is the command that will only

allow
the visible records to be cut and pasted.

Thanks
Bruce
