I posted something a little while back but I think it was too
complicated for a response. Not sure what the protocol on this is

ask
a simple question?
Is it possible to update a pivot table's data fields using a dynamic
range? I know I can refresh it using a dynamic range with new data
and no change in range dimensions. But I don't know how to update
the data fields if the data AND the dimensions of the dynamic range
change.
