Yes, been there, done that lots of times.
Was just wondering if I was the only one.
If you *have* saved, of course the error remains and I often find that
after deleting the line Excel still acts as if it is there.
Since it locks up instantly, I don't have to worry about that error
being saved. As for any others that I do save, Rob Bovey's
Code Cleaner always seems to do the trick.

No other way of closing.
You 'forget' to save at your own risk. Hope you remember to back up
too.

way out is to copy the whole module, paste into Notepad ("cleans" the
text) and copy/paste from there into a new module.
