Default Data Records Take Up Two Rows.

That happened because, in your original Word table, there is a return at the end of the text in each cell of the table

You can try this
1) From the Edit menu, choose "Past Special
2) Paste as Tex

Hi ..

Maybe this doesn't have anything to do with programming, but I hop
someone will respond, because I am baffled. I copied a table from Word an
pasted it into a spreadsheet. But every record takes up two row

1 Last Name First City (More Info
2 Smith John New Yor

4 Jones Mary Chicag

6 Hughes Mike Londo

The border is around two rows. 2 & 3 have just one border, 4 & 5 have
border, and so on

Anybody have any idea what happened?

Thank you
