I have a worksheet with a number of check boxes and command buttons.

time I open the workbook I get the following error:

Can't exit design mode because Control 'AfterCheckingValidations' can

There used to be a control by that name, but it was deleted a few weeks
back. There are no other controls or variables by that name, and there
are
no references to the name in the macros. Does anyone know what is causing
this, and how to fix it?
