Default Installing someone elses UDF

in a workbook, go to the VBE (Alt+F11)

do Insert=Module from the menu

Paste the UDF in the module.

Do Alt+F11 to return to excel.

Now you should be able to go to a cell and do

=Myfunction(arg1, arg2)

as an example.

Hi,

I am a VBA newbie and want to know how I go about installing a UDF that
someone has sent me the code for?

Is there an on-line idiot proof tutorial/explaination for this?

Is it complicated?

Dave
